Sponsor and Honor Tiles
Permacut is producing the tiles and installing the mural depicting Dorris in 1908 and 2008.
How to become part of history.
1) Sponser Tile: Be a sponser for the porcelain tile mural depicting the city of Dorris in 1908 and 100 years later, in 2008 and of historical photo tiles provided by the Museum. A sponsorship will also include a "Sponsor" tile bordering the Mural portraying the name, business and/or logo of the sponsor. Businesses, Civic Organizations, Churches, as well as individuals are encouraged to participate in the sponsorship of this project celebrating the Dorris Centennial.
2) Photo Tile: Display a personal photograh of past or current historical significance for posterity. Photos may contain one(1) descriptive line of text. The Butte Valley Historical Society committee willl review and approve all photos.
3) Honor Tile: Commemorate your family or business with an individual Honor Tile memorializing your name, and/or your brand, logo, or small decorative image (vector).
These distinctive porcelain tiles will be professionally produced and installed by Permacut, a local Dorris business, owned by Cherie Craddock and Maria Morrison, and are of the highest quality. The personalized black on off-white tiles will be installed on the north-facing wall in the City Hall Park adjacent to the new Centennial wall and our nationally known 200 ft. flag pole, and will become part of the permanent commemorative area in the park.
